Hey there friend! We're so glad you asked.
We intentionally offer tone saving buffered bypass on our pedals for several reasons.
1) Clickless soft switching. We use inaudible, silent switching on all of our pedals. This is great for times when you want to switch pedals without it clicking or popping loudly in your amp. This isn't possible with true bypass switching at this time.
2) Buffers aren't evil, especially ours. We use a high quality buffer, that is tone-saving, not tone sucking. This allows for longer cable runs, no high end roll off, will bring your board to life, and allow you to hear your guitar through your amp the way it was meant to be heard.
